The flicker of candlelight dances across Elyle's lips, accenting the twist of his mouth. Her name was a mere breath, sharp and laboured. Shadows flashed and melted against the walls of the room, forms committing to various battles in silence. Catrily took a deep breath as she forced him back against the floor, the rug rumpling around his body. With a slight grin, she took a moment to position herself above him, both legs straddling around his abdomen. His eyes widened and the words welled in his throat yet her fingertips caressed across his lips, quieting him swiftly.
"Trust me, the look on your face is all I need, darling..."
The gentle squeeze of her thighs gave him pause, a sudden burst of air escaping his lips as she fell toward his body. For a moment it was quiet, only the rustling of clothing humming above the sounds of the Stormwind bustle slipping through the open window. Elyle was too weak, unable to resist her any further and as much as he'd want to take it for what it was, his whole body wanted him to fight it. But it wasn't long before the sedatives she'd placed in his ale set in. Catrily didn't waste time, as she'd already started on removing his fingers one by one with the small ornate blade.
"Cat...please no..."
"Amazing how much you bleed."
She licked her fingertips as he shivered through his last breath.
