((I realized that if I didn't get this puppy started and post it up, I never would. I keep revising it and there's a chance that I'll fix things even after I've posted it here, but at least it'll be *here*!

She walked slowly through the garden. How different it looked than the way it once was, so many years ago. She had succeeded in bringing several new varieties of plants to Ashenvale. Including a plant which became named "Heart of Alishe". It began to grow not long after she found out she was pregnant and continued to blossom every year since.
Alishe stood before it now and bent downward to inspect it further. At one point, it was found to have a great use in healing and the demand for it became very high, very quickly. But since Alishe could not say what caused the plant to grow in the first place and since she also had no idea where it had honestly come from, she never could harvest enough to share with all those who desired it. So in time, after the initial craze began to fade, Alishe's plant was all but forgotten.
But Alishe never neglected it and more often than not, it was the first thing she would come to whenever she walked her garden paths. Her fingertips traced over the large leaves as she took a deep breath. So fragrant in a way that no other plant ever was. She had always felt compelled to keep it healthy and blooming. But lately, it seemed if no matter what she did, the plant was fading away. Alishe sighed and shook her head. Never had she struggled as much as she did with this plant. If only she could make it better. But the remedy eluded her.
Alishe stood back up and looked around. The garden with spread out around her like a giant colorful blanket. It was not far from the small altar where Alishe had affirmed her vows of marriage to Prydion. So many friends had stood with them that day. They had lined the ground with bright smiles as they looked on. And in that very place, where others had gathered to witness one of their most joyful of days, Alishe's garden began. And in each and every plant and flower, she felt them with her.
That first year she and Prydion spent in Ashenvale was a strange but wondrous one. It was heading into their second year of marriage and became a time of their life that had tested their bond more than ever before. Never had Alishe expected to endure what she had. To face questions and doubts that plagued her mind and heart until she thought she would never feel safe again.
