Ulthanon walked through the arching corridors of the Exodar as calmly as he could. He nodded to the merchants peddling their wares, to the guards making their patrols, and to the odd passerby that he recognized from here or there. He didn't stop to talk with anyone, though. He had something of extreme importance to obtain, and it was all he could do not to break out into a wild sprint. Up ahead, he saw it. The mailbox.
Cautiously he approached it, and placed his hand on the palm-print recognizing glass. After a moment it reoriented itself to his own personal deposit box (which he had never actually found the physical location of), and informed him that he did, in fact, have a package awaiting his retrieval.
A surge of adrenaline washed over him, and with shaky hands he opened the mouth of the mailbox and pulled out a large, brown package. The note tied to the top read:
To: Knight Ulthanon Kaidos, Champion of the Naaru
Hunter of the Fourth Tier
From: Valiance Expedition Ranger Corps
Howling Fjord, Northrend
He could contain himself no longer. With a rabid ferocity he tore the plain wrapping paper asunder and yanked the box open. Inside, packed snugly with packing parchment, was a large enough collection of arrows and bullets to supply a ten man firing squad for an entire night of battle.
He veritably squealed with delight.
First he found the ES-T51S designation bullets. A round that looked average enough to the untrained eye, but was constructed with an ingenious two-alloy casing. The bullet's length and point were made mostly out of a much softer material than usual, allowing it to crumple on impact. Meanwhile, the butt of the bullet was hardened thorium with a small internal spike pointing forward. The inside was actually hollow and sectioned off into two parts by a small disk of tin; into either hollowing, a pair of chemicals were poured that were nothing noteworthy alone, but when combined under high-stress situations (such as an impact) they would combine and explode.
Next he came upon the KS-L71 ammunition. He'd become a real fan of these beauties in Northrend. The bullet casing would actually strip away within a split-second of leaving the barrel of the gun, revealing a miniature unfolding warglaive, much like the kind Darnassian bolt throwers used. Razor-sharp, paper-thin and made from adamantite, these projectile buzzsaws would put the finishing touch on anything that normal ammunition was having a problem with.
Squeezing his box of leaden death tight, he hurried out of the crashed ship with a smile on his face and a tune on his lips.
