The lanky night elf glanced down at the great blue cat beside him. "Of course I'm sure, love. Everyone knows that the Pig and Whistle belongs to the Riders...whether that's figurative or literal, though...I'm not sure."
Daishar wrinkled her whiskers, opened her jaws, and stuck out her tongue as though she smelt another cat. All I can smell here is pub smells...alcohol, sweat, and a whiff of food...maybe. If this is what you want, Tahl...best get to it.
Nervously, the hunter nodded at his feline partner and stepped into the gloom, letting her follow on velvet paws. As he crossed the taproom, memories of his family flitted through his mind...Kaenos, Moonrang, Ghrumbles...and how things had just inevitably gone...wrong. They had left him outside their happy little Ring, at which Tahl had done the only thing he could and preserve his sanity...he walked away, grimly cursing the so-called high ideas of his former associates.
"What can I do for ye, sir?" The bartender set down the glass he was wiping carefully as he looked at the night elf and the cat.
"I understand that this place belongs to the Wildfire Riders. I wish to leave them a message. We're interested in joining them, if they'll have us." The elf slid a folded piece of paper, sealed with a blob of wax, to the barkeep.
"Well, mayhap ye are...and mayhap I don't know where to find 'em alla time. They come and go as they will, they do." The bartender glanced incuriously at the folded bit of paper, which had suddenly become topped by a small pyramid of golden coins.
"Tell them. We'll be waiting."
"Waiting? Where, if ya don't mind me askin'?"
The night elf smiled thinly, exchanged another coin with the bar maiden for a tankard of ale, and made his way to the table beneath the stairs. "Here. We'll be waiting here."

I just wound up having more fun on Destril 'cause of the cool folks he gets to run with...so I figured I should do myself the justice of having just as much fun on my Ally characters...oddballs that they are. And thanks for the shuffle...I wasn't 100% sure of where to put it, so I guessed.))
