A thread where we post what music we happen to be listening to at any given time, and yap about it. Maybe get some recommendations.
Of course, I'm listening to Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here", and anyone who needs that song recommended to them needs it immediately followed up with a rescue mission from their fucking time bubble. But still, the priniciple is sound!
Just finished Disc 2 of The Wall before that. I really haven't given that album a good solid listen for whatever reason - largely cause I was usually drunk when I heard it. It's pretty fucking impressive.
Your turn!

Actually right now I'm listening to the Jim Rome Show on Streamlink. >.> After it goes off the air at 3:00, I'll probably do what I usually do and listen to the Blues channel on 1.fm.
In the truck, I've got the BoDeans' 1989 CD Home in the player. I've been listening to that and Rush's live album A Show of Hands lately driving to and from work.
I honestly think I'm the only person left in the Western world that not only doesn't own an iPod, but doesn't really care to.

We're not allowed to have music playing at our desks, but I'm a rebel (and my desk's in the corner where no one ever visits muwahahaha), so I have music streaming very quietly from www.pandora.comIf you haven't played around with it, check it out. You give it a song or an artist (or a combination of several) and it tries to match other songs/artists whose music has similar sounds. Playing right now is... "Nineteen" by the Old 97s. I like it, so far. I got it by plugging in Guster as the group to recommend songs from (the playlist started with "Red Oyster Cult" from Guster on Ice).

The Wall is pretty amazing. We'll watch the DVD when you visit Tarq.
Lately I've had Solisbury Hill by Peter Gabriel stuck in my head.
